The only active military base in metro New York City, Fort Hamilton is located at the east side of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge in Brooklyn. Additional services provided by Fort Hamilton include supporting the Military Entrance Processing Station, the headquarters of the North Atlantic Division, Army Corps of Engineers and the U.S. Army Reserve Center.
